What is PACE?

PACE is the NDIA’s newer computer system for administering participant plans and provider payments, progressively replacing the older portal. Under PACE, participants nominate providers ("my providers") for particular support types, and providers see plan and budget information for participants who have endorsed them.

The endorsement model is the main practical change. Where a provider is not endorsed for a support type, claiming against it can fail even though funding exists.

Claim rejections after a participant transitions to PACE are frequently an endorsement problem rather than a data problem, which is worth checking before rebuilding a claim file.
