The NDIS Support Catalogue is several hundred items with price limits that vary by state, time of day, day of week and effective date. Keeping a copy in a spreadsheet means it is out of date the day after it is published.
NDIS price guide — how it works
The official catalogue is loaded with its day bands, time bands and effective dates. Rates resolve from it wherever they are needed — service types, shift billing, plan management validation, support coordination notes — and the price applied is the one in force on the service date rather than today.
Historic versions are retained, so an invoice for work delivered before a price change is checked against the limit that applied then. That is how the NDIA assesses it, so it is how Rostery does.
Why it matters for NDIS providers
Claiming above a price limit is rejected; claiming below it is revenue given away. Both happen when the catalogue lives outside the system that prices the work, and both are avoided when it lives inside it.
- Official catalogue, loaded: the published support items with their limits, not a transcription.
- Versioned by effective date: the price checked is the one that applied on the service date.
- Used everywhere rates matter: scheduling, billing, plan management and coordination resolve from it.
What's included
- Full support catalogue. The official items with limits, units and registration groups.
- Day and time bands. Weekday, evening, night, Saturday, Sunday and public holiday rates.
- Effective dating. Historic versions retained and applied by service date.
- Catalogue updates. New releases imported without re-entering your configuration.
- Used platform-wide. One catalogue behind every rate calculation.
Who it's for
Every NDIS provider, plan manager and support coordinator using Rostery — it sits underneath the pricing of everything else. Finance staff benefit most directly, since it removes the spreadsheet they would otherwise maintain.
Getting started
NDIS Price Guide Built In is included in your Rostery plan and works the moment your data is in — there is no separate module to buy or set up. Book a demo and we will show it on your own workflows, and use Rostery's “Smart Switch” data migration to bring your existing clients, staff, shifts and notes across from your current software in minutes.
